The interdependent team involves the dependence among the team members within an organization whereas in case of the independent teams the team members perform their job individually within the organization (Manser, 2009). There are other types of team performances within an organization such as the self-managed team, sports team and the virtual team. Self managed team are meant to handle the complex projects within an organization with their distinct leadership styles (Manser, 2009). On the contrary the sports team within an organization are meant to arrange the sports events whereas the virtual teams are the groups that undertake work independently within some shared boundary, space, time as well as technology (Manser, 2009).
