This paper makes an investigation of the perception of the younger population in context to inclusion of the older population in the workforce. This paper provides an empirical study in relation to younger population’s willingness to work with older people in Australia. Based on the discussion, it can be recommended that The Government should be stricter in enforcing the law against ageism. However, the workers who experience such negative behaviour should voice their concern to the government authorities so that Australian economy can benefit from greater participation of the older workface.
