Impacts of Emotional Intelligence of Leaders on Job Satisfaction and Turnover Intentions of Followers

This research work is based on determining the impact of emotional intelligence of the leaders on the performance as well as the job satisfaction of the followers. It is based on quantitative analysis that involves a survey on the employees of several banking companies including Bank of China, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China, China Construction Bank, China Minsheng Banking Corp. etc. The regression output stated that the emotional intelligence of leaders was related to the job satisfaction of the followers but it had no significant impact on the employee turnover intentions.

Exploring the relationship between job satisfaction and employee turnover in Chinese luxury hotel

Employee satisfaction and high attrition rate of the workers are the two most difficult issues that have been dealt by the managers across the organizations. In this research work aims to investigate the relationship between employee satisfaction and employee turnover in the context of Chinese luxury hotels where high turnover of the employees has become a major issue. Findings have revealed that employee satisfaction and attrition rate of the employees are inversely correlated to each other. For instance, the factors such as attractive salary package, proper work environment etc. can increase employee satisfaction and reduce turnover rate.

Effect of Reward Management on Employees Turnover Intention and Performance
